The First TNA Call in numbers

During the 4 months the TNA call remained open the EUMR consortium logged 38 individual downloads of the Applicant Package, from the official EUMR website. Of those individual downloads we registered 27 individual proposal submissions, which of those 26 were eligible. The submitted proposals have the geographical and domain distributions shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2

As can be seen in Figure 1 and Figure 2 although the majority of proposals came from Academia there was still a significant participation from other domains such as Industry and Government entities (totaling 19,5% of registered submissions). Furthermore, there was also significant participation from entities outside Europe, although most submissions are European.

From the 26 eligible submissions we registered an 84.6% approval rating, seen in Figure 3, totaling 22 proposals to be executed during the 1-year period from March 2019 to March 2020. One notable fact is that 2 of the rejections were due to budget limits of the access provider and not a negative evaluation.

Overall this first call has provided positive values in terms of acceptance rates which leaves us eager for future editions!
